Vicky Jewson

From an early age Vicky made an illustrious start on her career. In 2008 Vicky’s first feature film ‘Lady Godiva’ was released in cinemas nationwide and subsequently sold in major retailers. It is currently being sold worldwide.

Vicky also raised the £1.2million to make the film. Her success garnered international recognition as a filmmaker and business entrepreneur. She won the Arts Media and Culture Women Of The Future Award (sponsored by Shell) in 2006 and was runner up as Young Entrepreneur Of The Year. Vicky is also a Women Of Achievement Ambassador for Schools, mentoring young people.

Since the age of 7 Vicky has been making films, it has been and remains her life-long ambition. Her production company, Jewson Film Productions (JFP), has a five year plan backed by a board of industry and business professionals aims to make JFP a super independent studio, building a stable of talent in order to produce three to five films per year.

Vicky has a significant PR following having appeared on/in media including Jonathan Ross 2008, ITV This Morning, BBC News 24, The New York Times, The Financial Times, Sky 24, The International Herald Tribune and Women’s Hour on Radio 4 to name a few. Her next film ‘Born Of War’ has been three years in development and is very much centered around her experiences to date. She has strong relationships across the industry and approaches each project with a keen awareness of making commercial films for a wide marketplace. Last year Vicky shot a six minute teaser for ‘Born Of War’ which demonstrates this. In between films Vicky works extensively with actors, shooting shorts, showreels and appearing and talking at workshops, all of which keeps her in touch with the creative world of film.

Vicky will occasionally provide after dinner motivational speeches for schools and corporate evening events. To make an enquiry please contact ninabrown@jewsonfilmproductions.com
