Jewson Film Productions was formed in 2005 by Vicky Jewson.
Vicky has been making films from the age of 7 and it had always been her ambition to run her own production company.
Vicky raised £1.2million to make her first feature film ‘Lady Godiva’ which was released in 2008 across cinemas nationwide and in all major retailers. In recognition of Vicky’s achievements as a filmmaker and business entrepreneur she was awarded the Arts Media And Culture Woman of The Future Award in 2006 (sponsored by Shell) and was runner up for The Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.
The next feature film to be released is entitled ‘Born Of War’ and will signify the beginning of a much wider plan for Jewson Film Productions.
JFP has a five year plan which is backed by a board of business and film industry professionals.
The Mission Statement:
Jewson Film Productions’ vision is to become a super independent film studio; this will encompass the production of feature films for which we will build a stable of writing, directing and HOD talent to use as a constant resource. JFP will become self-sufficient in the necessary services and equipment needed to make films, thus lowering their cost and maximizing returns. JFP will also provide training for new talent in order to create a link between the professional industry and the education sector. With this increased “in-house” value JFP will retain IP rights and will develop an international sales partner that it can work with to generate consistent revenue streams.
