• Charity Work

On the set of 'Vicious Youth', developed and produced by the children at OYAP and JFPJewson Film Productions has a charity arm called 'Open Set'.

Open Set works with inclusive groups of disabled and non-disabled young people making films over a series of evening courses, culminating in a three day film shoot and finally a red carpet premiere.

The aim of Open Set is to give young people, from all backgrounds, a direct access route into professional filmmaking. As a production company, Jewson Film Productions is ideally placed to make this happen.

  • Lady Godiva feature ITV Loose Women

Open Set courses focus on making a film as we would for the professional market place. The courses cover all the elements from scripting to casting with professional actors, filming with broadcast quality equipment, editing in a post production house, and a red carpet world premiere.

It is about giving young people an experience they otherwise would never have and one that they can most definitely talk about with pride to their friends and family. Open Set promotes team work, confidence and learning how to work with a mix of abilities and age ranges.

Open Set has worked with the Parasol project, Oxford County Council, Fusion Arts and Young Careers as well as the Oxfordshire Youth Arts Partnership.
