Jewson Film Productions

JFP started 4 years ago when Vicky Jewson decided, aged 18 that she was going to fulfil her life long dream of making a feature film. She wrote “Lady Godiva” and raised £1.2million to make it. The film came out on general release in January 2008. And is now available to buy at most retailers on DVD. Jewson Film Productions next film “Born Of War’ is set to shoot in January 2010. On the back of this next film Vicky, and her Producer Rupert Whitaker, are set to launch a new initiative to help young people get into the film business. It is called The Jewson Film Foundation and offers a 1 year and 2 year programme. The end result will be to make 3-5 films per year with emerging talent identified from the course.

Vicky Jewson won the Women Of The Future Awards in 2006 and has since become a Shell Women Of Achievement Ambassador For Schools. She has a passion for helping young people and has started a charity Open Set in order to facilitate smaller community and youth projects.
